the Bensley family), Trefoil headed pillar Piscina with carved
cap (late 13c.), Tudor chair (presented 1926), Screen (1861) ]

(except for the Tower the church was gutted during an air raid in
1942 - the Tower 44 feet high was repaired in 1953 - it has no
dressed stone quoins but only large flints) ]

memorial to Bishop Hall who died in 1656 at his Palace - now the
Dolphin Inn - in this parish), Piscina

Lakenham St John the Baptist and All Saints (mainly Perpendicular
style - the roofs are modern - the Arcade being iron pillars
cased with wood) ]

Lakenham St John the Baptist and All Saints: Monument to James
Crowe (Mayor of Norwich 1774 and 1797 of Tuckswood House Old
Lakenham died 1807 aged 56), Trefoil headed Piscina (south-east
corner of Chancel), Font (early 16c. - carved with Emblems of the
Passion, the Evangelists etc) ]
